Camp David Centre is a non-governmental organization (NGO) in the Changamwe division of Mombasa, Kenya that, since its registration in 2001, it has been deeply involved in the community seeking to provide opportunities and hope for the marginalized of society, the centre supports community-focused programs centered on education and empowerment.
Established in 1999, the organization initially started as a rehabilitation centre for the many slum children in the Changamwe. Since its founding, Camp David Centre has expanded immensely The center now sponsors almost 855 needy children and supports nursery and primary school education, health care, social welfare and empowerment programmes.
For the past six years, Camp David Centre has been on the forefront on advocating for child rights and child protection has been our core activity.
